I was feeling bit frustrated as no response came from any mentors to that WSO2 project which I intended go with. I have only 1 week left to submit the project proposal. Therefore, I decided to move to the next alternative I have. I won't find this alternative bad at all.

OpenMRS, write code - save lives!

Healthcare application which runs on many hospitals specially targeted for resource constrained environments. Intention of this application deserves to be praised. Specially in countries in African continent, needs to have proper way of handling medical records. Large population and limited resources. Therefore, OpenMRS targeted to help on this issue and solve it with computerized application. Now it has been deployed and running on many hospitals.

I have went through the project list. I felt theater management improvement module would fit me as I have worked on Theater Management module in my workplace code base. Company that I'm working is a leading healthcare organization which operates in Sweden. Therefore, I picked up that project. I have given a self introduction on community email thread.

Now I'm setting the local environment and trying to familiarize with the code base. Then I can start to work on my proposal creation. I hope everything would goes smoothly. God bless! Peace.
